The city of Safety Harbor continues to be deeply saddened by the passing of philanthropist George Weiss on July 19, 2023.

In recognition please join the family with a community celebration of life, honoring his legacy at Folly Farm Nature Preserve on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11am-2pm.

The informal celebration will feature North Carolina's Lonesome Road Band, a butterfly release, flag raising ceremony, memory table, and refreshments. 

George was always a philanthropist, so to continue his philanthropic legacy, the family had donated items for a raffle benefitting the Safety Harbor Garden Club - a group near and dear to his heart at Folly Farm.  Please join in for the celebration of his life
