Whispering Souls Cemetery Donation

The Garden Club donated a tree to the City for this effort. The Whispering Souls Cemetery sustained substantial damage during the last two hurricanes in 2024. The City assisted in the planting, as well as the State representative for assessing placement of the trees at the cemetery. A few Club representatives were present. Pinellas Nonprofit Trying to Save The 14-acre West Klosterman Preserve near Tarpon Springs Preserve

The Garden Club donated $610 to save the Klosterman Preserve.

The Garden Club donated $3,000 to the City of Safety Harbor Summer Camp for Kids. This donation allowed 20 children to attend camp at Folly Farm Nature Preserve free of charge. 2024

The Garden Club donated $100 to an Eagle Scout Project for a "Bunny Hutch" to be installed at Folly Farm.

The hutch should be completed fall of 2024. Plan a trip to visit the bunnies, goats and chickens at Folly Farm - 2024
