The Beautification Committee designs, establishes plans, and coordinates garden sites. The Committee Chair, together with the Nursery and Garden Managers, develops short and long term plans for maintenance, changes and expansion for all Garden Club sites being supported.
The Communications Committee serves as the central point for all communications to, from, and within the Safety Harbor Garden Club. The SHGC states that all communications to members and to outside of the Garden Club goes through the Chairs of Communications.
The Education Committee is the repository of Gardening and Pollinator Pathway information. A major goal is to increase public awareness of the importance of planting Florida native plants (host plants for Pollinators) in their home communities and helping them find pollinator friendly plants for their landscapes. The committee defines a schedule for Educational events and disseminates information to members and the public via the Communication Committee channels.
The Hospitality Committee arranges all materials for safety Harbor Garden Club (SHGC) events.
- Share Pollinator Pathway information to raise public understanding, and help the public join various programs.
- Serve as the knowledge group for the Safety Harbor Garden Club for Pollinator Pathway, working closely with the Education Committee.
- Support efforts through the Civic Beautification Committee and Communications for various outreach programs.
The Program Committee plans and coordinates presentations for monthly membership meetings. Includes guest speakers and workshops.
